Libby's Poem Nothings Natural Perfect

Nothings Natural Perfect
by Libby Peter

It’s funny how much
People listen to the media, magazines T.V
When nothing is just automatically perfect
I mean we can’t even really define perfect
But we all think that what we have to be
I mean every living thing isn’t perfect
If you think about trees rocks animals
They all have scars mentally physically or both
Just like people
Everybody’s been through something
Or other in their life
Just like nature
I mean think about when there a
Wildfire thunderstorm tornado hurricane strong wind rain
A mark gets left
A tree there a reason there’s a thing called leaf scars
When they loss a branch in a storm it doesn’t grow back that quickly
Some don’t grow back
Rain erodes rocks snow does too
Those leaves crakes and can chipped off pieces of rock
And they can`t just get back what they lost
It leaves a mark like a scar
Animals they bear the scars they get when they get into a fight with another animal
Or collisions with humans or when they get out of a  turmeric experience
They will always have those scars
So humans and nature really aren’t that different
Humans and nature could work together
So I dare you try to name one thing
That is perfect without photo shop or makeup
Can you think of anything?
I can’t
